Crystal Metaphysical Properties
Thank you for visiting the Stitches and Stones KC metaphysical properties page! The following are a list of the crystals that I currently (or recently) offered at the KC Mystic Fair or various events at Karma Community Market.
Starting with the KC Mystic Fair (August 15-17, 2025) I will have small cards with a brief description of the crystal to put with your purchase if you would like them. As always, I have the metaphysical properties on cards taped to each crystal container.

AMEGREEN
Description: Tumbled, purple, green, and white.
Amegreen is a combination of Amethyst, Prasiolite, and Snow Quartz. The combination of energies in this crystal creates loving compassionate energy, emotional healing and stimulates psychic abilities. Its vibration also enhances creativity and inspiration, and you may feel inspired to take steps to make changes in your life. It brings a sense of calm and peace.
ASTROPHYLLITE
Description: Small tumbled, opaque, black with copper colored inclusions. (I also have this in raw form.)
Astrophyllite helps to bring life to hidden forces and show you that as one door closes another one opens. It aids in astral travel and in seeing yourself from the outside. Helps you to release anything that is inhibiting your personal growth. It’s a wonderful companion for astral travel, out of body journeys and dream time, as it helps to protect and guide when needed.
BLUE LACE AGATE
Description: Opaque light blue palmstone.
Blue Lace Agate enhances verbal communication and expression. Used for dissolving repressive blocks that inhibit expression. This calming stone can help those who may be feeling depressed or worried, and is believed to bring peacefulness. Placed in the home, Blue Lace Agate helps to de-stress and keep family members from arguing.
ORANGE CALCITE
Description: Opaque orange palmstone.
Helps integrate the spiritual realm with the physical body, enhances creativity, and is helpful when working with emotional issues. Use it to energize and cleanse the lower chakras. In meditation it can bring insights into the causes of apathy or lethargy, allowing you to take back control over your life. Mobilizes energy especially involving creativity and sexuality.
CHAROITE
Description: Opaque tumbled, purple.
It brings in focused clarity and the awareness of what you create, giving you a more profound acceptance of your role as Co-Creator, through clarity and alignment with Divine intent. It helps you to step out of the old, fear based existence of emotions, thoughts and patterns, and lights the way to your unlimited self. Carry Charoite to release limiting beliefs and old patterns, so you can manifest your reality with Divine assistance, for your highest good and greatest joy.
CHIASTOLITE
Description: Opaque tumbled, brown with black.
Also known as the Cross Stone. When placed in the center of the home it will fuse chi energy and radiate it outwards welcoming health and harmony. A protective stone, often worn to guard against negative energies, curses and the like. It encourages creative thinking & problem-solving by getting rid of old thought patterns that have been keeping us from moving ahead.
PINK DANBURITE
Description: Semi-Transparent, raw, very light pink.
Danburite’s serenity and peaceful energy engulfs you with unconditional love and helps you to let your light shine. Calming and instills patience. It assists in relieving emotional pain and increasing acceptance of one’s self and of others. Pink Danburite is especially good for healing the Heart and Higher Heart chakras. Reduces stress. Connects to the angelic realm.
GALAXYITE (aka GALAXITE)
Description: Opaque greenish/grayish with little flashes of color.
Galaxyite is a Micro-Labradorite. The energy is very similar to Labradorite but feels that it packs a bit more of an energetic punch than Labradorite. This stone balances, cleanses, and protects the aura. Enhances psychic abilities. Encourages release (shadow) work. Assists with changes and transformations. It’s a powerful ally for your spiritual journey.
GRAPE AGATE
Description: Opaque, purple, raw cluster that resembles grapes.
Assists with tapping into our higher consciousness, strengthens intuition, mental clarity, understanding of dreams, and receiving answers from Divine sources. Stabilizes and balances one's energy. It is soothing and boosts self-confidence as well as provides reassurance during difficult times. Grape Agate promotes community and unites the collective.
HIDDENITE (GREEN KUNZITE / SPODUMENE)
Description: Raw, mostly opaque, light green.
Promotes unconditional love & self-love while helping you to release emotional blockages. This includes feelings of failure and people who feel they need to put on a brave face. Reduces stress and anxiety.
HYPERSTHENE
Description: Opaque tumbled, black with metallic colored flash.
Promotes clear thinking including problem solving, insight, and better judgement. It enhances self-confidence. Boosts psychic knowing and other psychic gifts. It brings you gently into the present time as well as ground and protect, creating a quiet within. It energizes your confidence, self-love and self-respect, helping you to value your worth and gifts.
INDIGO GABBRO (AKA Mystic Merlinite)
Helps you to release deeply rooted issues and is a wonderful companion to use for shadow work. Indigo Gabbro also promotes feelings of strength and courage especially when you feel like the tide is against you. It is useful to bring awareness to potential opportunities. You can meditate with Indigo Gabbro for spiritual communication, to enhance your intuition or keep it under your pillow to enhance dream work.
KUNZITE
Description: Opaque tumbled, light pink.
Kunzite is a powerful healer of the emotional body, particularly for those who have closed themselves off from life, or from others, to protect themselves emotionally. It can help release energy blockages and increase acceptance of Divine Love. Kunzite dispels negativity and removes emotional baggage. It’s a source of unconditional love, especially for yourself.
ORANGE KYANITE
Description: Small, raw, mostly opaque orange blade.
Stone of creativity, imagination, and manifestation. Increases self-esteem. Eases depression bringing back a sense of optimism and positive thinking. Works with the Sacral chakra in clearing negative energies that may be holding us back creatively or sexually. This can include helping with libido or fertility issues.
MALACHITE
Description: Opaque tumbled, medium to dark green.
Malachite is a stone of balance, abundance, manifestation and intention. Malachite absorbs energy and draws emotions to the surface. Malachite is often called the “stone of transformation” and is used for deep energy cleaning, bringing healing and positive transformation to the wearer. Due to its Copper content Malachite helps ease pain, including arthritis.
MOLDAVITE
Bring about change with this highly transformation stone. — Keywords: High Vibration. Acceleration. Rapid Spiritual Evolution. Cosmic Connection. Chakra Activation. Increased Incidence of Synchronicities.
MOONSTONE
Description: Opaque tumbled, cream colored.
Moonstone is associated with the Moon and helps us to embrace the Goddess within. It is a stone of intuition and insight as it boosts psychic gifts. Assists in balancing the emotional body. Keep a Moonstone in your pillow to alleviate nightmares. For women Moonstone balances hormones and can benefit them during menstrual cycle, pregnancy, and menopause.
PETALITE
Description: Small, raw, mostly opaque white.
High vibrational, protective crystal. Ideal for attuning to higher dimensions and raising your own vibrations. Aids in manifesting. Supports healing of past abuse. Can help with the removal of cords and releasing negative energies from the physical, mental, emotional and Etheric bodies. Dispels stress, depression, anxiety. It is calming and balancing.
PIETERSITE
Description: Small, opaque tumbled, blacks, blues, reds, golds.
Strengthens personal power. Mental clarity. Self transformation. Increases intuition and insight. Encourages people to make a fresh start toward unaccomplished goals. Helps you to create change.
PYRITE
Description: Opaque tumbled, gold, some raw sparkle spots.
Pyrite is a very protective stone, shielding the user from negative energy of all kinds. It also promotes good physical health and emotional well-being. Pyrite is known as a stone of luck, helping to attract abundance, wealth and prosperity to the user, via its creative energies of manifestation. Boosts confidence and will power to carry things through to completion.
RAINBOW MOONSTONE (AKA White Labradorite)
Description: Opaque tumbled, white palmstone.
Rainbow moonstone has a gentle, calming energy. It helps to strengthen intuition and psychic perception, and enhances creativity, compassion, endurance and inner confidence. It is a stone that brings balance, harmony, and hope. The Rainbow effect brings in a spectrum of light, and can help with clearing and bringing in uplifting energies. It has been said to have the power to grant wishes.
SERAPHINITE
Description: Opaque tumbled, dark green with white “feathers”.
Angelic communication. Heightens psychic gifts and spiritual enlightenment. Brings light energy into the DNA for accelerated healing. Clears blockages in the chakras and enhances the aura.
SHUNGITE
Description: Opaque tumbled, matte black.
Shungite is a powerful cleansing, purifying, and grounding stone. Shungite absorbs and shields the body from electromagnetic emissions (EMF) such as those caused by computers, microwaves, Wi-Fi and the like. Shungite helps to ease anxiety, chronic fatigue, and inflammation. It is said to help detox the body and help boost the immune system.
STAUROLITE (aka FAIRY CROSS)
Description: Small, raw, opaque raw, brown X or cross shape.
Good luck. Grounding. Protects from stress. Connects with the fairy realm.
STILBITE
Description: Opaque tumbled, light peach-ish color.
A creative stone that opens intuition with a loving and supportive energy. It can be helpful in learning acceptance and letting go. Facilitates clarity of thought. Brings calm and inner peace.
SUNSET AURA QUARTZ
Description: Semi-transparent, tumbled, orange with pink hues.
Created when Iridium and Gold are permanently bonded with the Quartz. Sunset Aura Quartz raises the vibrational energy within yourself allowing for joy and self-confidence to flow. It helps release past issues and traumas. It helps to find balance within change. Promotes creativity, a positive outlook on life, and a higher sense of self-worth in times of struggle.
TANZANITE
Description: Opaque, raw, purple-ish blue.
Helps one to slow down by releasing stress. Translate emotions into words. Compassion. Use in meditation to develop intuitive and psychic gifts.
BLUE TOPAZ
Description: Small, tumbled, semi-transparent, light blue.
A “stone of true love and success in all endeavors”. Promote individuality and creativity, while providing for confidence in trusting our decisions. It replaces negativity with joy. Opens us to cosmic understanding, helping to transcend limitations. Emotional balancer, soothing & peaceful. Brings tranquility, creativity, self-expression & enhances psychic perception.
TOURMALINATED QUARTZ
Description: Semi-transparent, tumbled, Black Tourmaline in Quartz.
Black Tourmaline in Quartz is the perfect union of protection and amplification. This combination creates a powerful ally in one's spiritual growth. Used for grounding and clearing, Black Tourmaline is also exceptional at blocking and transmuting negativity, making it a wonderful stone for releasing fear and worry, and for protection of one's energy field.
VANADINITE
Description: Opaque, raw, orangish-red. Comes in a small jar.
Keep Vanadinite in your space to encourage you with reaching your goals. Inspires action and creativity. It supports physical vitality & can help curb exhaustion, burnout and fatigue. It can provide grounding and stamina, especially for healers and psychics.
ZEBRADORITE
Description: Opaque tumbled, ivory/peach-ish (Moonstone) with brown/gray (Smoky Quartz) inclusions.
Moonstone with Smoky Quartz. It enhances one’s intuition and psychic abilities, helping individuals connect with their higher selves and spiritual guides. promotes emotional healing, balances energies, and increases self-confidence. It brings a sense of grounding and stability, helping individuals overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
